Every once in a while, I come across an electric vehicle that piques my curiosity. This time it was this particular electric scooter from Varla Scooters. The Varla Eagle One Pro is an all-terrain two-wheeler with a few features worth exploring.

The Eagle One Pro isn't the first electric scooter I have written about, as previous articles have looked at a line of two-wheelers classified as hyperscooters.

They don't classify the Varla Eagle One Pro as a hyperscooter, but it is a capable scooter in its own right. First and foremost, the Eagle One Pro is built to tackle any terrain, whether smooth, rough, wet, or otherwise. With two 1000W hub motors and a massive 60V / 27Ah battery, this scooter can go up to 45mph and travel up to 45 miles on a single charge. That means more fun and less downtime.

You begin your ride not with keys but with an NFC card you keep on your person.

The next thing to note about the Varla Eagle One Pro is its sleek design. The matte black color and the red or blue accents make it look modern and stylish.

The aluminum frame is sturdy and can withstand any bumps or bruises. It has a weight capacity of 330 lbs, making it suitable for all shapes and sizes. To say this thing is robust would be an understatement, as the machine's weight exceeds 90 lbs, which is a bit higher than most electric bikes. The Eagle Pro can be folded for storage, and because it has two wheels, it can always be considered very portable (just not easy to carry).

The Varla Eagle One Pro has two 1000W brushless hub motors, which provide loads of power. This electric scooter can tackle steep 35-degree hills, accelerating quickly and confidently. And since it has two motors, it has better stability and control than other scooters. The Varla Eagle One Pro also has a three-level speed limiter, so you can customize your ride and maximize your fun.

Another standout feature of the Varla Eagle One Pro is the large 60V / 27Ah lithium-ion battery. This high-capacity battery means you can explore your surroundings longer without worrying about running out of power. Given the size of the battery, you can expect the charge time to take 13 to 14 hours. The workaround is buying an extra charger, as this scooter has two charging ports. With the secondary charger, you can fully charge it within six hours.

The Varla Eagle One Pro offers exceptional safety features, including a dual hydraulic disc brake system ensuring you stop quickly and safely:

Continuing with the safety features is the inclusion of a bright 10W LED headlight and tail light.

The front and rear individual suspension system reduces the impact of bumps and potholes, offering a smooth ride even on rough terrain.

Including an expansive silicone, deck will ensure your footing is solid and true.

The tires are puncture-resistant and provide excellent grip on any surface. Also, note the included fenders to ensure any mud or kicked-up dirt doesn't spray the rider.

In conclusion, the Varla Eagle One Pro is an excellent e-scooter for adventurers and outdoor lovers looking for a fast, rugged, and reliable ride. Its dual hub motor, large battery capacity, and impressive safety features offer the best of all worlds for the price tag of $2099. Whether you're exploring a new city or taking a less traveled path, the Varla Eagle One Pro looks up to the challenge.
