A Robot to Cover Unsightly and Unwanted Graffiti

Clean Up Your City One Building at a Time

There's nothing more frustrating than walking through a city and seeing countless "tags" on buildings, sidewalks, and other public spaces. Often considered simple graffiti, these tags negatively affect the city's urban decorum and overall cleanliness. Luckily, Milan-based design studio Valerio Cometti + V12 Design has developed a solution with their Tag Removal System (T.R.S. 001). This unique project aims to contain the proliferation of these meaningless tags while still preserving and enhancing genuine street art and cultural expression. In this post, we'll dive into what the T.R.S. 001 is, how it works, and the benefits it can bring to your city.

What is the T.R.S. 001?

The T.R.S. 001, or the Tag Removal System, is a project by Valerio Cometti + V12 Design to prevent the proliferation of meaningless tags throughout a city. These tags, which often have no cultural or artistic value, can negatively impact the overall perception of cleanliness and the environment in which citizens live.

The project was designed with both the environment and urban decorum in mind. The T.R.S. 001 was created to operate without generating harmful waste or using potentially harmful products, making it an eco-friendly solution. Additionally, the project aims to enhance beauty and cleanliness in public spaces, improving the quality of life for people everywhere.

How does the T.R.S. 001 work?

The T.R.S. 001 uses artificial intelligence and geographic information systems (GIS). The technology is mounted on robots that scan for and identify tags that are of concern to buildings. The robot can scan the layout of the building, taking into account windows and ledges.

Once identified, the drones use algorithms to classify the tag type and map out the location where it was found. Besides this, the system can also detect the colors of the wall. The robot will detect the color and then mix the appropriate color needed to paint over them to blend with the wall. The stem can raise itself to 1 meter and reach a maximum height of 3 meters, enough to cover the ground floor.

The robots have omnidirectional wheels for easy mobility and can detect/avoid pedestrians and other objects when performing their Tag-covering duty.

What are the benefits of T.R.S. 001?

The benefits of the T.R.S. 001 are far-reaching. First and foremost, the project aims to preserve genuine street art while eliminating meaningless tags. This will positively impact the environment and urban decorum, directly impacting the city's quality of life.

Additionally, the T.R.S. 001 is designed with environmental sustainability in mind. The system operates without generating harmful waste or using potentially harmful products, making it an eco-friendly solution for cities looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

Conclusion:

The Tag Removal System (T.R.S. 001) is an innovative project that can significantly impact a city's urban decorum and cleanliness. The T.R.S. 001 can scan for and eliminate meaningless tags using advanced technology like artificial intelligence and blockchain while preserving genuine street art and cultural expression.

For property restorers, innovators, early adopters, and technophobes, the T.R.S. 001 is a promising project with far-reaching benefits. Thanks to the environmentally sustainable design of the T.R.S. 001, cities can take advantage of the system without worrying about its harmful environmental effects. Overall, the T.R.S. 001 represents a significant step forward in urban decorum and environmental sustainability, and hope that more cities will adopt this innovative solution.
