There is something to be said about having a nice amount of followers. I love the thrill when someone follows me—the occasional comment on an article, even the negative ones. I love the uptick in views the increase in fans. Call it the competitive drive within me, but it is fantastic to see the numbers increase. After all, this is why a majority of us do this. We want our works to be recognized and pull ourselves out of the proverbial cellar.
My only regret is I did not find this site a couple of years ago. I have read countless articles on Medium and found tremendous amounts of inspiration. I am drawn in by some of the titles, which is an art unto itself. Some of the writers on Medium have a true knack for this. I am not one of these writers, but I am getting better.
I began blogging to put thoughts on paper, and it was a source of therapy in what can be a somewhat depressing time in human history. I found I had a lot to say, some positive, some of it less so. I buy a lot of technology and gadgets, and it just made sense to review and provide my opinions on what I purchased. I share the occasional story, some of which is amusing, some uplifting, some not so much! They can’t all be gems but stick with me as I am certain you will be entertained, informed, or a little bit amused.
