In a Few Generations, No One Will Remember You!

When you are young, you are self-centered and believe the world revolves around you. I marvel at how oblivious our kids are to the world around them.

I often envy those artists such as The Beatles, Rembrandt, Mark Twain, Davinci, Michael Jordan, to name a few. Here are true masters of their trade, whether it be music, art, architecture, literature, or sports. Artists live on and are remembered for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years.

For many of us, we will be forgotten after a few decades. It certainly is a depressing realization if you dwell on it too long. It just shows you we must make the most of the time we have. Make your mark on the world and use your words. Words are forever!
